I saved about half by buying the springs and stuff from balanced body and then to use oak. But I also have a drill press and the woodworking tools to make it myself. Is it a do it yourself project? Maybe for you, it was for me. You have to have the studs to put it into on a wall too. Good luck!
Thanks, I just saw this today. I actually got a fantastic deal on Craigslist for two Peak wall units, but will definitely keep this advice as an option in case we need more and decide to make them. There are studs in the studio space, and we have the tools. Thanks!
